This is another title that I've seen constantly on social media, so I decided to pick it up and `I don't regret it!It's an angsty romance, with so much happening to the two protagonists, Ava and Alex. The two couldn't be more different, but they can't help the attraction that sparks whenever they are close. When they are forced in close proximity, all bets are off and Alex and Ava give in to their passion. But there is more to Alex's and Ava's pasts, and they need to work out the details to remember what's important to get there HEA.

It’s was a raw and powerful book in enjoyed the twist and storyline was amazing I truly enjoyed I would recommend to my friends and family anyday

I finished this book in one sitting and really really enjoyed it, however (even though i loved the characters and the plot) there was points where i feel it was a little bit unrealistic. I did. really enjoy it though especially the lead up to Alex’s and Ava’s relationship and then getting back together

The chemistry and the passion jumps off the pages, this is book that in the end leaves you happy but throughout has you by the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen next. Alex’s darkness and Ava’s light complement each other perfectly and the plot never lagged, amazing. An very very steamy too, loved it.

I have wanted to read this book for a while & it did not disappoint. Absolutely loved the story line and the different characters. Highly recommend.

Overall rating: 4.5 🌟Plot twist: 5 🌟Spiciness level: 1.5 🌶I'm glad I finally convinced myself to read this book. 🙌It has some of my favourite thropes: grumpy x sunshine, sexy millionaire, "touch her & die" 🤤🤤I loved the storyline and I definitely did not expect the twists, perfectly executed⚡I only wish we had a little more of their journey in London, or perhaps another book? 😂😂It has some spicy scenes but not as many as I expected. Sorry, the smutt lover in me wasn't satisfied completely 😂The book was good tho, no deny there. Looking forward to reading book 2, Bridget's story...

SLIGHT SPOILERSTropes in this book: Grumpy alpha/sunshine woman; brothers best friend; abused girl.What can I say about this book?Did I like it? Yeah.Did I love it? No.Ava is kind of weak and gullible; Alex is a twat.The story was good until they had sex, then it felt like a erotica/wattpad story. It wasn't realistic and I really didn't like Alex.I did like that Ava makes him work for it in the end, but making your entire personality about loving a man is pathetic.It was well written though and I've nothing against the author, I just didn't like the main characters.I feel like this book needs a clear trigger warning too for people with sexual trauma and anyone with PTSD for violence.Alex is a full on alphahole who I wanted to hit most of the time. Ava deserves better.Quote I liked: "...I would burn down the world for you."3/5
