Such a pretty book, the gold foiling is stunning and I can’t wait to finish it! I love that it has multiple POVs

My book arrived on time which i was very happy about. I got the paperback version because I prefer reading from them rather then hardback versions (although I will still buy them just to have in my collection obviously). I've seen a few people say they were quite disappointed with the way this book ended but for me it was an easy 5 star read just like the previous 2 books. Some advice i will give to people looking to read this book is to not go in with your expectations/standards so high because i can guarantee you, just like what i've seen from people all over tiktok/youtube is you will be disappointed when the story doesn't end the way you envisioned it. overall i love Stephanie Garbers writing, i loved this book and i'm sad the series is over.

It’s the time we’ve all been living and surviving for. The reason I’m still here and alive today was the ending to this beautiful story. I started the once upon a time trilogy last year and I ate it and Stephanie up, a beautiful fantasy writer she done the book, the story and the characters a great justice.I knew Evangeline would end up with him, there was no other way the story could’ve went (in my opinion) they wore simply destined to be from the get go. Apollo and Aurora wore a nice set of unsuspecting villains and LaLa is the love of my life. I’d like to think the next story in the magnificent north will be LaLa’s.I absolutely adored this series and the Caraval one. The world building and character progression deserve an honorable mention. I’ll be looking out for the next one Stephanie releases as she has simply become my all time favorite author. There was only one way I felt the book could end and thankfully it was the right one as Apollo scares me : )It’s been a great ride Evangeline, and especially to Jacks🩷

I like the authors unique writing but this book did feel rushed. I was hoping the story would be more flushed out but it felt like a race to the end. Oddly dissapointed as it wasn't as good as her pervious books but still a decent read.

I loved the first two books and was so eager to read how it all ended for Jacks and Evangeline. This book was a let down. As another reviewer said, most of the book was about Evangeline and Apollo, who I always disliked. I felt that Jacks and Evangeline should have united much earlier and then go through a few more ordeals together so that we could enjoy them as a couple. As it was I felt their big moment was very underwhelming and then the book finished with a whole lot of loose ends.

The final and third book was good, worth waiting for. We never got to find out why the hero always eats apples though.

I absolutely loved this book and it was so sorry the wait. I loved the jacks and Evangeline relationship. I felt like I was there in the back ground begging them to find each other and have their happy ever after. I read this book in 2 nights as I just couldn't put it down until I found out how it all ended. I don't want this story to be the end, I want to read more about jacks and Evangeline. I didn't want the story to end. Fans of the stories will love this book and won't be disappointed.I thought it was a magical story which takes you away into a magical land where all my worries are magiked awayFor me both young adults and adults of all ages will love this magical book and I can guarantee you will be transported to another land far away

I love the second book in the series and I was hoping to see lots more Jacks and to have a satisfying resolution to the series. Instead, we got a convoluted, disjointed tale that leapt from place to place, never quite explaining anything, and that focused more on Apollo as being the world's most boring villain.Ending a series is a hard thing to do, but after eagerly anticipating this book for months, I could not have been more disappointed :(

I was looking forward to this book after finishing the first two books earlier this year. I really enjoyed this book however (spoilers) there were too many plotholes. What happened to marisol, luc and tiberius? I was hoping for more evajacks but I felt like there was too much focus on apolo's arc. Also the fact that there was no explanation for the apples drove me mad. We also didn't get a lot of insight on the valors and auroras character seemed rushed. Overall I loved the first two books but I just hoped there weren't this many plotholes.

I finished the book a couple of days ago and I am still wondering ''What was that?!'' I did not have high expectations, but even I expected more than this…This is by far the worst book in the series, and one of the worst books I have ever read.Nonsensical plot, pointless, boring dialogues, copy paste from previous books in the series just to add a few more pages, the characters devolve, more face-slap moments than I care to acknowledge and, in a book that is supposed to be about Evangeline and Jacks, JACKS BARELY APPEARS !!! But hey, we get plenty of Apollo, not that it adds anything to the story. I imagine the next book will be about him so, it seems that justifies not caring about the last book in a trilogy that basically sells itself at this point.I will never understand how this book got published, and the only way to ex... I have been obsessed with tgis story since the first book came out and I'm so happy with this conclusion. Evajacks has me in a chokehold and I am devastated to be leaving the Magnificent North behind. Fingers crossed there are more stories to be told.
