What genius lies asleep in your brain? This is the question asked of us by Napoleon Hill. Originally published in 1937, and selling more than 60 million copies worldwide, Hill's Think and Grow Rich is a classic motivational book. Inspired by Andrew Carnegie, Hill studied the work and lives of some of the most successful people of the Industrial Era including Ford, Wrigley, Eastman, Rockefeller, Edison, Woolworth, Burbank, Morgan, and Firestone as well as three United States Presidents. From his 20-plus years of research into the characteristics of what launched these individuals into greatness and wealth, Hill developed his 13 universal principles, meant to inspire any individual to a richer, fuller life. The true genius of his writing is the simple way in which he explains that wealth comes from seeing your goal in your mind and making it happen, no matter what.

This is a perfect book for anyone who wants to improve their life. It reminds us we all have the power to transform ourselves and help others through practice and positive perspectives. Nothing is impossible. It helps us realise true purpose and what life is for. It also kicks into touch our tendency for destructiveness and reminds us to be kind, thankful and true..

I love Napoleon hill research, it's very techinical but you feel that is been researched well. You need to pay your whole attention into it to understand the meaning behind each chapter, I do recommend to read it at least 3 times, very uplifting book

Not a single piece of good advice throughout. Buy a sales course, write a good C.V. Also, know the right people. An absolute waste of time. Worst financial book I have ever read.

I'm about half way through this book and it's STILL not getting to the point, and I just can't keep on reading any more.Every chapter is the same three not-especially-interersting stories told over and over in slightly different ways, or longs monologues of pseudoscience and scientific theories that have long since been disproved. At one point, I kid you not, he suggests that science has proved the existence of telepathy! He talks constantly about "the ether", which has been proved to not exist. He takes credit for the fact that his deaf son's hearing was restored. He takes credit for his son's success in marketing that hearing aid to other deaf people. He takes credit for the classes his son gave to other deaf people to help them overcome their lack of hearing. From what I've read he also takes credit for even bigger thin... More

I found this book provides useful insights into how to be more driven to succeed financially. But still, at the same time, me being a person of colour (of black Jamaican Pan-African heritage), I use the practical application of the fundamental techniques of this book in my own unique way.
